Accepting clients who desire to be seen and valued

About Me

Although I was born and raised in California, Arizona has been home for many years and is where my family, career, and community have grown. After earning my undergraduate degree from Biola University, I moved to Arizona and quickly came to appreciate the people and opportunities this state offers.

My passion for helping others has guided both my career and education. I earned a Master of Education from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. For many years, I have supported adolescents and young adults through life's challenges, transitions, relationships, and personal growth.

As a trauma-informed counselor trained in EMDR, I use an integrative approach tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.

At El Roi Christian Counseling, I am reminded of Hagar's story in Genesis 16. Alone in the desert, she encountered God and called Him El Roi, "the God who sees me." No one should walk through life's struggles alone. Just as Hagar was seen in her desert, God sees us in ours. My desire is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel seen, known, and cared for as you pursue healing and growth with hope.
