About Me
Although I was born and raised in California, Arizona has been home for many years and is the place where my family, career, and community have flourished. After earning my undergraduate degree from Biola University, I moved to Arizona and quickly developed a deep appreciation for the people, beauty, and opportunities this state offers.
My passion for helping others has guided both my professional and educational journey. I earned a Master of Education from Northern Arizona University and later completed a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. For many years, I have worked in education, supporting adolescents and young adults as they navigate academic pressures, life transitions, relationships, and personal growth.
As a trauma-informed counselor, I recognize the impact that past experiences can have on current thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviors. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and use an integrative approach that is tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with family and celebrating the different seasons of life that come with watching loved ones grow and pursue their own journeys. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for relationships, personal growth, and the resilience people demonstrate as they navigate life's challenges and transitions.
I work with adolescents (12+), teens, young adults, women, individuals experiencing betrayal trauma, families, and couples. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued as they pursue healing, growth, and lasting change.
